Ranbir Kapoor is uniting with the ‘Kabir Singh’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his upcoming movie ‘Animal’.
Sharing an audio teaser, the official announcement was made on Jan 1, which got everyone excited.
Apart from Ranbir, this movie also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Parineeti Chopra. Well, as per Filmfare reports, there has been one latest addition to the ‘Animal’ cast.
‘Bulbbul’ fame Tripti Dimri will supposedly be paired opposite Ranbir in this high-intense action thriller. The ‘Sanju’ actor will supposedly be romancing Tripti, along with Parineeti in this father-son story.
“Some big and popular names had auditioned for this role. Sara Ali Khan had also auditioned for the movie but the makers were quite impressed with Tripti’s work and audition tape. They thought she would bring that freshness to the character and a young appeal,” a source told Filmfare.
Recently, Tripti won the Filmfare award for Best Actor in a Web Original Film (Female) for her remarkable performance in Netflix’s ‘Bulbbul’ in Filmfare OTT Awards 2020.
‘Animal’, which is being produced by T-series, Bhadrakali Pictures, and Murad Khetani’s ‘Cine1Studios’, is all set to go on floors by mid-2021.
