No Entry actor Celina Jaitly has taken a major legal step against her husband, Austrian entrepreneur Peter Haag, accusing him of years of domestic violence and financial abuse.

The couple married in 2010 and are parents to three sons, Winston, Viraaj and Arthur. One of their infant twins, Shamsher, passed away due to a heart condition in 2017.
Celina filed her petition in a Mumbai court on November 21, leading to a formal notice being sent to Haag. The complaint, filed under the Domestic Violence Act, paints a disturbing picture of the couple’s marriage. According to Celina, Haag is a narcissistic and self-absorbed individual who has shown no empathy toward her or their children.
Allegations of Emotional and Physical Abuse:
In her petition, Celina describes multiple incidents of emotional, physical, verbal and sexual abuse. These alleged incidents occurred across several countries, including Italy, Dubai, Singapore and Austria. She says Haag often displayed uncontrollable anger, humiliated her publicly, and behaved recklessly even during her pregnancies. One instance she cites is being pushed out of their apartment while recovering from a C-section. She also recounts an incident in Singapore where Haag allegedly struck her during an argument.

Forced End to Her Film Career:
Celina says the abuse extended far beyond the physical level. Shortly after their marriage, she claims Haag prohibited her from working, forcing her to abandon her successful film career. According to her, this robbed her of her financial independence and caused a loss of nearly Rs 50 crore in potential earnings. She adds that she was allowed to take up only small projects, that too with Haag’s permission.
Claims of Financial Control and Misuse of Funds, Property Transfer and Manipulation:
Financial control, she says, was a major part of the abuse. Celina alleges Haag misused her debit and credit cards, accessed her accounts, misappropriated funds and even manipulated her into transferring her Mumbai flat to him in 2017. That year, she had lost both her parents and one of her newborn twins, a period she describes as the lowest point of her life.
Separation From Her Children:
Celina eventually fled Austria with nothing, fearing both for her safety and the risk of being accused of kidnapping if she attempted to bring her children along. The children currently live with Haag, and Celina is seeking their custody along with Rs 10 lakh monthly maintenance.
Haag has reportedly filed for divorce in Austria earlier this year.
