Bollywood’s favourite holiday rom-com season just got a shiny new addition with Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. With Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday reuniting after six years, this Christmas release is shaping up to be all things breezy, colourful and filmy.

The film is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 90 crore, and Kartik Aaryan is taking home a massive Rs 50 crore for playing Ray.
Ananya Panday, who essays Rumi Vardhan, has reportedly been paid Rs 5 crore. Veteran actor Jackie Shroff, who essays Rumi’s father, has reportedly taken home Rs 1.7 crore. Neena Gupta, who plays Ray’s mother, is said to have been paid around Rs 1 crore.

The trailer shows a classic opposites-attract romance between Rumi and Ray. She is an author with zero patience for Ray’s nonsense, while he clearly enjoys pushing her buttons. Their airport meet-cute quickly turns into forced proximity on a yacht, and sparks are bound to fly.
What follows is a breezy holiday romance with stunning locations and playful banter. But it is not all smooth sailing. Will this dreamy holiday fling turn into something real, or will Ray and Rumi end up going their separate ways?

The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans, the filmmaker behind Satyaprem Ki Katha, which also starred Kartik. With Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures backing this project, the vibe seems set for colourful visuals, catchy music and a storyline with a full rom-com heart.
