Who Is Simar Bhatia, Making Bollywood Debut With Ikkis?
Simar Bhatia is starting her Bollywood era strong with Ikkis. The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan, the same genius who gave us Andhadhun and Badlapur, so expectations are already sky-high.
Ikkis is based on the real-life story of Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee. Simar plays Kiran, the romantic interest of Arun Khetarpal, portrayed by Agastya Nanda. While the film is packed with bravery and battlefield moments, her character will add the emotional heartbeat.

Simar was born on September 27, 1998, in Mumbai, making her around 27 years old in 2025. Though she belongs to a well-known film family, Simar kept much of her early life private and stayed away from the limelight until her Bollywood debut was announced.
Simar is the daughter of Alka Bhatia, Akshay Kumar’s sister and a film producer. Alka was earlier married to Vaibhav Kapoor and later tied the knot with real estate tycoon Surendra Hiranandani in 2012. Growing up, Simar was surrounded by both Bollywood influences and the business world.

Simar attended some of Mumbai’s top schools, including Jamnabai Narsee School and Oberoi International School.
