Reuniting with Bhardwaj after Kaminey and Haider, Shahid Kapoor is completely unhinged as feared Mumbai gangster Ustara. Sporting a cowboy hat and an attitude that screams danger, Shahid plays a man who is brutal, unpredictable, and clearly operating by his own twisted rules.
Enter Triptii Dimri, who approaches Ustara with a supari. But instead of a straightforward deal, things take a dark turn when he demands something far more crude in return. What follows is a toxic, uncomfortable romance that looks equal parts thrilling and terrifying.
Adding more chaos to the mix is Avinash Tiwary, who brings raw energy to the screen, while Nana Patekar shows up briefly and leaves a solid impact, because of course he does. Disha Patani spices things up with a sensual dance number, and the supporting cast featuring Tamannaah Bhatia, Farida Jalal, and Aruna Irani round off this talented ensemble.

What makes O Romeo even more gripping is its real-life inspiration. Shahid’s Ustara is reportedly based on gangster Hussain Ustara, while Triptii’s character draws from Sapna Didi, who once planned revenge against Dawood Ibrahim.
With a release date locked for 13 February 2026, O Romeo promises grit and madness. If the trailer is anything to go by, this one is going to be intense and unforgettable.
