As per Bollywood Hungama, the script is locked, shooting is planned for end-2026, and producer Aditya Chopra is fully backing the project. The film is reportedly a gangster-themed musical love story. Cue intense romance, heartbreak, and songs that will live on your playlist!
Ranbir has been approached and is interested, but nothing is final yet.
A source said, “Ranbir is also excited to collaborate with Mohit, but has not committed to the film yet. He is still sorting his calendar, as both Love and War and Ramayana are delayed.”
The film has huge music potential and could even be one of Ranbir’s last proper romantic roles. Ranbir’s decision is expected by mid-2026. Till then, Mohit and Adi are moving ahead with prep.
