Actress Shruti Hassan celebrates her 35th birthday today.
On the occasion of her birthday, Prabhas took to social media and made an announcement that will surprise all her fans.
Prabhas revealed that Shruti Hassan has been roped in to play the female lead in his much-anticipated film, Salaar.
Prabhas, in his latest post, wished Shruti Haasan and welcomed her on-board. He also said that he is looking forward to work with her in the film. The Baahubali star shared her picture and wrote, “Happiest Birthday @shrutzhaasan ! Looking forward to working with you on #Salaar (sic).”
Hombale Films, who bankrolled the KGF franchise, will be producing this film as well. They announced the same on their official Twitter page. Their post read, “Wish you a very happy birthday @shrutihaasan Party popper We’re ecstatic to have you onboard for #Salaar. Can’t wait to see you sizzle on the screen. #Prabhas @prashanth_neel @VKiragandur @hombalefilms (sic).”

The film is likely to go on floors from tomorrow and major portions will be shot in Telangana. A huge set has been erected in Khammam district for a high-octane stunt sequence.
