Rajiv Kapoor, younger brother of Randhir Kapoor and the late Rishi Kapoor, passed away today, at the age of 58.
The actor suffered a severe cardiac arrest and succumbed to it (9th February 2021).
As per a TOI report, Randhir Kapoor (73), had to rush his youngest brother Rajiv to the Inlaks Hospital, a medical facility at Chembur. Unfortunately, the doctors at the Hospital declared the actor dead upon arrival.
“I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him,” says Randhir Kapoor. “I am at the hospital, waiting for his body,” he added.
Neetu Kapoor, actress and wife of Rajiv Kapoor’s brother – late Rishi Kapoor (who passed away in April last year), posted a picture on Instagram paying tribute to her brother-in-law.
Rajiv Kapoor made his debut in Bollywood in the film ‘Ek Jaan Hain Hum‘ in 1983. Later he also played the lead role in his father’s last directorial ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili‘.
