Sharan Sharma made his directorial debut with the Janhvi Kapoor starrer, ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl‘.
As per Pinkvilla, Sharan has already started working on his next directorial.
A source close to the development informs that the director has approached Kartik Aaryan and Alia Bhatt for the film.
The source says “Alia Bhatt and Kartik Aaryan are on top of Shahran’s wish list. He has had a preliminary meeting with them for the film. However, he is presently in the stage of locking the final script, after which he’ll have a few more meetings with the actors. The film is expected to roll by the end of the year.”
This movie will be produced by Karan Johar.
Earlier there were rumors that Kartik and Alia might collaborate for filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. However, that collaboration didn’t work out.
We are looking forward to see this fresh on-screen pair work their magic on us.
