Akshay Kumar was the first actor to begin shooting after the sudden outbreak of Covid-19 in 2020.
Akshay Kumar had announced his upcoming movie ‘Ram Setu‘ in Diwali last year and looks like they have finalized on the leading lady.
Peeping Moon has reported that Jacqueline Fernandez is the leading lady for Akshay’s ‘Ram Setu’ and the actress is currently shooting in Jaisalmer with Akshay for Sajid Nadiadwala’s actioner Bachchan Pandey.
The two have featured in quite a few films together including the Housefull franchise and Brothers. Jacqueline has always maintained that working with Akshay “is a crazy ride” and that she looked forward to having a blast with him again.
Akshay had released a poster to announce the film and had captioned it “to endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge (setu) that will connect generations to come”.
‘Ram Setu‘ will be directed by Abhishek Sharma.
