Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ is gearing up for a theatrical release on July 30, 2021.
The team was filming in full swing to stay on schedule for the release, however, the shooting has allegedly been halted now.
As per recent media reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 on Gangubai Kathiawadi sets. The filmmaker has apparently quarantined in his office and his mother has also taken a COVID-19 test.
“After Sanjay tested positive, the first thing he did was to get his mother tested too, she has tested negative for the virus and is doing fine but she has also quarantined herself as a precautionary measure,” a source told Indian Express.
His leading heroine Alia Bhatt too is quarantining and is reportedly awaiting the result of her Covid-19 test, along with other crew members.
Earlier in the day, Neetu Kapoor had confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor had contracted the Coronavirus. Fingers crossed, and we hope everyone recovers soon!
