After Ludo and The White Tiger, Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for another OTT release!
This time, he has been paired up with the talented Huma Qureshi for a Netflix film. The duo had starred in the Gangs of Wasseypur series previously.
As per a Peeping Moon report, this Netflix project is titled ‘Monica, O My Darling’. The title appears to be a nod to Helen’s famous item number by RD Burman, doesn’t it?
Vasan Bala of Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota fame will be helming this project, which is supposedly a comedy set in office space. Currently, in the pre-production stage, it will go on floors in late April or early May this year. Plot details have not been revealed as of now.
Apart from this Netflix film, Rajkummar has Hum Do Hamare Do with Kriti Sanon, Badhaai Do with Bhumi Pednekar and the remake of the Telugu thriller ‘HIT’. Meanwhile, Huma Qureshi has Bell Bottom with Akshay Kumar, a cameo in Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Subhash Kapoor’s SonyLIV series, Maharani.
