Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, ‘Mardaani’ revolved around child trafficking and drugs. Co-starring Tahir Raj Bhasin & Jissu Sengupta, the movie was released in 2014.
On the other hand, ‘Mardaani 2’ (2019) portrayed the story of a juvenile psychopath who raped and murdered young girls. This Gopi Puthran directorial also featured Vishal Jethwa as the antagonist.
