It was earlier reported that Netflix original Bahubali: Before The Beginning has been put aside.
This was a two-season show based on Anand Neelakantan‘s novel, The Rise of Sivagami. Sivagami was first featured in S S Rajamouli’s epic, Bahubali.
Bahubali: Before The Beginning was shot with Mrunal Thakur as young Sivagami but now the series will be remade with a new team on board.
Peepingmoon.com has updated that Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi is now starring in the project instead of Mrunal. Super 30 actress doesn’t have dates to reshoot the entire series and hence Wamiqa, who has featured in films like Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, and others has been roped in.
