Lata Mangeshkar Donates ‘X’ Amount To Maharashtra Chief Minister Relief Fund for COVID-19!

Bollywood celebs have come forward to help India during this trying time; be it through donation or contributing oxygen concentrators and other essentials.

Now, the legendary veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar too has provided some relief towards battling the Covid-19 2nd wave crisis!

As per TOI report, the singer has donated an amount of SEVEN LAKHS to Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund!

Directorate General of Information and Public Relations (DGIPR) of the Maharashtra government shared this news, adding that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has thanked her for the contribution.

This relief fund will be helping aid the needy in facing the shortage of vaccines, oxygen cylinders and other medical essentials.

Recently,  Sachin Tendulkar had donated Rs 1 crore to help procure oxygen concentrators for Covid-19 patients. Ajay Devgn had also given 1 crore to BMC to set up a Covid-19 ICU facility.
