The Covid-19 pandemic has increased the OTT charm amongst movie fans and several actors are making their debut on digital platforms to keep their fans engaged.
Since 2020, many huge actors have made their OTT debut and now it’s time for Riteish Deshmukh to spread his charisma on the digital platforms as well.
According to Peepingmoon.com, Riteish Deshmukh is making his OTT debut with a Netflix film which will be directed by Shashanka Ghosh who has previously helmed hits such as Sonam Kapoor’s Khoobsurat and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Veere Di Wedding.
This untitled web-film is likely to feature a top South actress alongside Deshmukh.
This Netflix Original was earlier supposed to go on floors in late February but was pushed further after the Maharashtra government announced the lockdown. The film is now scheduled to hit the floors in July if the shooting restrictions are lifted by then. Riteish Deshmukh is said to be playing a larger-than-life character in this social-comedy, meant for a 2022 premiere.
Screenwriter, Rajat Arora is producing this film.
