While the spooky adventure comedy was slated to hit theatres on September 10, there have been buzzes going around that this multi-starrer movie might take a direct-to-digital route and stream on Disney+ Hotstar. However, there is no official announcement yet.

Meanwhile, now, Bollywood Hungama reported- the satellite & digital rights of Bhoot Police have supposedly been sold to Star Network for a whopping amount of Rs 60 CRORES approx.

“The satellite and digital rights of Bhoot Police have been sold to Star Network for a sum in the range of Rs. 60 to 65 crores as compared to the budget of Rs 40 crores. With this deal, the producer, Ramesh Taurani, has made an easy table profit in the range of Rs. 20 to 25 crores with some more income expected from the sale or exploitation of music and other rights.”

Reportedly, Bhoot Police‘s satellite rights have got Rs 15-20 crore from Star Network, while the digital rights have apparently been valued at only Rs 45 crore.

“Being a horror-comedy featuring reasonably big names, ‘Bhoot Police’ is expected to do well even on television. Hence, Star Network has got blanket rights around Rs. 60 crore mark,” their sources concluded.
