The reports of his collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala have indeed been confirmed recently.
The handsome hunk took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the new movie – ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’!
Labelled as an epic love story, the project will be helmed by Sameer Vidwans who helmed the National Award-winning 2019 Marathi drama ‘Anandi Gopal’.
In a statement, Kartik told the media – “I have been wanting to work with Sajid sir for some time now. I couldn’t have asked for better collaboration. Satyanarayan Ki Katha is a musical love saga which brings together a powerhouse of people who are National award-winning names. It’s also a first for me with Sameer Vidwans sir who has an astute sense of making sensitive topics highly entertaining. Honestly, I feel immense pressure and responsibility since I am the only member in this team without a National award.”
Satyanarayan Ki Katha will go on floors by the end of this year and will be in cinemas by 2022. We wonder who the female lead for this project will be?
Kartik also has ‘Dhamaka‘ (releasing on Netflix), ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo remake’ lined up. He will play an IAF officer in Hansal Mehta’s next as well.
