Now, the latest update is that a domestic violence case has apparently been lodged against Karan at Mumbai’s Goregaon police station on June 25 (Friday).
As India Today reported, the case has been registered against the actor and his family members Ajay Mehra, Bela Mehra, and Kunal Mehra after Nisha’s alleged complaint of violence and exploitation. Not only that, but Karan’s estranged wife has also supposedly accused him of withdrawing more than Rs 1 crore from her account.
For the unversed, Karan Mehra was arrested on May 31 as Nisha had filed an FIR against him at the Goregaon police station after the couple had a big fight at their Mumbai residence.
Reportedly, she reached the police station with a bleeding forehead and blamed Karan for it. However, after Karan’s bail, he claimed that Nisha banged her own head against the wall and was trying to frame him.
