Directed by Mira Nair, the series ‘A Suitable Boy’ released a very capturing trailer on the 11th of July. The series stars Ishaan Khatter and Tabu in enticing and forbidden roles that peak our interests to the core.
‘A Suitable Boy’ is an adaptation of the book by Vikram Seth, both sharing the same name. Ram Kapoor, Tanya Maniktala, Namit Das and Rasika Dugal are also part of the cast.

The setting of the series seems to be newly Independant India which talks about four different families.
Ishaan Khatter turned down approximately 9 major projects before accepting this adaptation. The actor was also offered a Vishal Bhardwaj film but refused that too. It was Tabu who took the initiative in easing out the intimate scenes with her much younger co-star, Ishaan. Ishaan is 24 while Tabu is 48.
The two share an incredible chemistry on-screen, one we’d never have imagined to be this enticing.
