After ‘Dilwale’, Varun Dhawan & Kriti Sanon have once again come together for their upcoming film ‘Bhediya’.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy is scheduled to release in cinemas on April 14, 2022.
The movie went on floors in February this year and the major chunk of the Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon starrer was shot in Arunachal Pradesh. While fans can’t wait to watch it on the big screen, we have come across a major update regarding the movie plot.
As per the latest buzz, the film is said to be based on an important cause. If this Pinkvilla report is to be believed, the plot of ‘Bhediya’ reportedly revolves around the theme of ‘Save the forests’.
“Bhediya revolves around the theme of ‘Save the forests’. However, the message has been conveyed with humour, in a classic Amar Kaushik style. The last leg of the film was shot in June in Mumbai, and it’s now in the post-production stage,” a source informed the portal.
Earlier, producer Dinesh Vijan had revealed that ‘Bhediya’ and ‘Stree 2’ will be interconnected. For the unversed, ‘Bhediya’ is a part of Vijan’s horror-comedy universe, which also includes ‘Stree’ & ‘Roohi’.
