Ever since it was declared that the theatres will be reopening in Maharashtra from October 22, a flurry of film announcements has started.
A lot of big-ticket movies have booked their slot for 2021-22. Tiger Shroff-Tara Sutaria starrer Heropanti 2 is also set for a theatrical release.
Earlier, the makers had decided on 6th May 2022 for the actioner flick’s release. However, it was clashing at the box office with the Hollywood biggie ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ starring Chris Hemsworth.
To avoid this collision, Heropanti 2 has now shifted its date to be an EID offering – in cinemas on 29 April 2022.
Heropanti 2 is the sequel to Shroff’s 2014 Bollywood debut Heropanti. The 2nd instalment will feature Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the antagonist.
