‘The Family Man 2’ series actress Samantha Prabhu has been in the news lately for her separation from actor-husband Naga Chaitanya.
Confirming their divorce, the duo issued a joint statement on social media on October 2, 2021.
ChaySam, as fans would fondly call them, first met on the sets of the Telugu film ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ and since then, their fairytale-like romance started. However, 4 years after their grand wedding, the duo called it quits.
Right after their separation announcement, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma posted a series of cryptic tweets about his thoughts on marriage and divorce. Although he didn’t mention Samantha or Chaitanya’s names, fans were smart to figure out that he was reacting to ChaySam’s divorce.
On Saturday (October 2), the ‘Satya’ director took to Twitter and wrote, “MARRIAGES Are Made In HELL and DIVORCES are made in HEAVEN.”
“DIVORCE should be more celebrated than MARRIAGE because in marriage, you don’t know what you are getting into, whereas in divorce you are getting out of what you have gotten into,” he said in one of his tweets.
