The 20-year long wait is finally over! Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel have something exciting in store for us.
The two took to social media to give fans and followers a surprise on the occasion of Dussehra.
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel have reunited to give us the sequel to their 2001 masterpiece Gadar titled – Gadar 2. Captioning the post Sunny wrote, “After two decades the wait is finally over! On the auspicious day of Dusshera, Presenting to you the motion poster of Gadar 2.”
This film also will be directed by Anil Sharma, the director of the first movie. Gadar 2 will be produced by Zee Studios. Sunny plays the role of a truck driver Tara Singh while Ameesha’s character is Sakina.
In an interview, Sharma stated, “Tara could only be played by Sunny. I needed someone extremely powerful, extremely innocent. There’s no one in the industry apart from him to do this. I had him in mind while conceptualizing the film. I knew Sunny would be iconic in the film.”
