If there’s any Bollywood A-lister celebrity who can keep their personal life private, it’s filmmaker Zoya Akhtar.
But right now, we’re a little confused. Apart from getting busy with all her upcoming projects, Zoya left us in shock with an Instagram comment!
Two days ago, production designer Sally White shared a cosy picture of Zoya and Assistant Director Sharic Sequeira. Sally captioned the image, “absolutely fabulous”. However, what’s more interesting was the comment Zoya left under the previously mentioned caption.
Zoya had commented, “Just Married” which clearly left us very confused. After speculations went rife, the director DELETED the comment too!
As for Sharic, he has been an AD for the films Dear Zindagi (2016), Brothers (2015) and Student of the Year 2 (2019). A report also suggests that he’s currently working with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions as an Associate Director.
On the work front, Zoya is heading Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, starring Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. She’s got more up her sleeve and will be producing Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar’s documentary – Angry Young Men. Her most exciting project is the Hindi adaptation of the comic Archie for Netflix. Lastly, her film Jee Le Zaraa will be going on floors in 2022.
