Nargis Fakhri celebrates her 42nd birthday today!
The Rockstar actress was last seen in Sanjay Dutt starrer action thriller Torbaaz. Nargis recently confessed that she had indeed dated Dhoom actor Uday Chopra.
Talking about the past relationship, Nargis had revealed – “Uday and I dated for 5 years and he was the most beautiful human I met in India. I never have said this to the press as people told me to keep my relationship quiet, but I regret that because I should have shouted from the mountain tops that I was with such a beautiful soul.”
Back during ‘Housefull 3’ promotions, it was being rumoured that she had left India due to breaking up with Uday.
However, Fakhri was actually suffering from a life-threatening illness apparently. “When I came here, I had arsenic and lead poisoning and no one knew what was wrong with me. It can happen in many ways ‘ it could be in the water, food, rusted lead pipes in an old building.
The doctor tested me, but he was so scared because it was at a very high level and I asked him ‘What do I do?’ Then I cured myself,” Nargis had elaborated to the media.
She had taken the Ayurveda path towards healing from the affliction – “Ayurveda is based on naturopathy, herbs basically but it was a combination of different things that I researched and six months later I got the test done again and there was nothing! The doctor was like ‘Oh, my God! How did you do this?’ And I said I will tell you when I see you.”
