After spending almost a month in Arthur Road jail, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was granted bail in cruise ship drugs bust case on 28 October 2021.
As per India Today report, the star kid, who got acquainted with some of the prisoners in his barrack, allegedly promised to help their families with their daily affairs and financial troubles!
However, even though he has been granted bail, he will apparently still have to remain in jail today as formalities have not been completed. The deadline for jailer to receive the release order was 5:30 pm.
As per NDTV report, SRK’s Darr co-star Juhi Chawla stood surety for Aryan, who was asked to pay a bail bond of ₹ 1 lakh. (It means she’ll be legally responsible if Aryan doesn’t pay the money).
Aryan Khan Bail Conditions:
NDTV report states that if any of these conditions are violated, the Narcotics Control Bureau can request cancellation of bail!
- Aryan has to submit a personal bond of ₹ 1 lakh
- He has to surrender his passport and he cannot leave the country without permission
- Aryan cannot leave Mumbai without informing the police and has to go to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office every Friday between 11 am and 2 pm
- He will have to attend court hearings and join investigations whenever required
- Aryan should not be found indulging in a similar offence
- He should also not communicate with other accused like his friend Arbaaz Merchant. He must not make any statement to social media or media about case proceedings
- Aryan must not attempt to influence any case witness or tamper with the evidence
Since the deadline has passed, Aryan most likely be out of jail on Saturday (30th October) morning instead.
