Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar will be registering their marriage on February 21, 2022.
The groom’s father Javed Akhtar himself confirmed the news. Filed in January, the registration will happen at one of their Bandra residences.
Post their court marriage, a celebration party is said to happen at Javed Akhtar and Shabhana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse, with family and close friends in attendance.
“Farhan and Shibani always wanted an intimate wedding and are really excited about their big day. The party will be a small affair with only people from their inner circle in attendance. It will all be about food, music, laughter and celebration,” a source told Pinkvilla.
For the unversed, Farhan was previously married to hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani before separating in 2017.
