The Supreme Court will be announcing the verdict in the SSR case soon.
As per Pinkvilla report, Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh had earlier called Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, a dubious, intelligent criminal. Now, the lawyer has said that Pithani will be named as a co-conspirator in the FIR.
The Rajput family had initially said that the actor’s death was allegedly a suicide and levelled an abetment charge against Rhea but has now stated that is ‘murder’. The lawyer said that it happened only after Siddharth Pithani changed his stance and so now they are suspecting it was a murder.
When the advocate was asked about Rhea being a nominee of SSR’s insurance, he stated, “she cannot be the beneficiary.”
Rhea in her plea to the Supreme Court had mentioned that she was in a live-in relationship with the actor. However, Vikas Singh said, “Indian laws do not entitle such persons to be legal heirs without a will.”
