Parth Samthaan has been a heartthrob since Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2. But later the actor was keen on quitting the TV series because he was of the Bollywood project that he had at hand. It has been reported that Parth Samthaan will be romancing Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next.
Parth Samthaan will be playing Alia Bhatt‘s love interest in Gangubai Kathiawadi, a crime movie about a young girl, that is sold into prostitution by her boyfriend.
A source reveals “This was the reason why Parth wanted to take a break from the TV so that he can prepare for his big Bollywood break, this shooting of which will be scheduled soon. He didn’t want to juggle between his TV show and his big Bollywood project.”
“Also, he wanted to be not seen on the small screen before he graduated on to the silver screen. He has been quite excited about this role and the talks were on for quite a few months. He even informed the same to the producer of his show Kasauti, Ekta Kapoor. Till now his role was kept under wraps as the makers didn’t want to reveal it.“ continued the source.
