Rakhi Sawant’s mother, Jaya Bheda passed away last night (Saturday, January 28) at the age of 73 .
She breathed her last after a prolonged battle with brain tumour and cancer.
Jaya Bheda had been undergoing treatment in CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital & Research Centre, Juhu.
Talking to ETimes, Rakhi revealed that the cause of her mother’s death was a multi-organ failure and she was very critical.
The former Bigg Boss contestant took to Instagram and informed her fans that the funeral with take place on Sunday. In a statement, she wrote –
“With a deep sorrow, I Rakhi Sawant inform you the sudden death of my beloved mother. Many of you know that she was suffering with some medical conditions, while I’m sad to say that she is gone. Tomorrow join us for the funeral service of my mother at 12:00 afternoon.”
A couple of days ago, Rakhi had shared a video in which she spoke about her mother’s condition.
