Selfiee is the Hindi remake of the 2019 Malayalam movie – Driving Licence, which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead.

In Selfiee, Emraan plays the role of an RTO officer, Om Prakash Agarwal. If this report is to be believed, the actor has been allegedly paid to the tune of Rs 7 crores for this film.
About Selfiee:
Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar (Akshay Kumar), who is also famous for his driving skills, wants a driving licence urgently. Om Prakash Agarwal (Emraan Hashmi) is an RTO officer who also happens to be his super fan. However, a series of misunderstandings lead Agarwal to lock horns with his hero, Vijay.
