Celebrity Manager Disha Salilan who managed Bollywood actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma died at the age of 28 supposedly by commiting suicide. Multiple reports say that Disha jumped off the balcony from a house on the 14th floor which belonged to her fiance Rohan Rai.
However in a recent interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Senior Inspector Jagdev Kalapad of the Malvani Police station let out a statement where he revealed that Disha did not commit suicide, she was drunk and fell off the balcony.
“There were six friends in all. They were drinking after dinner. Disha Salian who was also tipsy, walked to the window of the apartment from where she fell down at around 1 am on Tuesday.”
The police recorded the statement of her parents who said they don’t suspect any foul play.
“They don’t suspect any foul play. They also told us that Disha had been anxious about her future plans for a while. We are yet to record statements of Disha’s friends present in the flat at the time. Because of her intoxicated state, we cannot say whether it was a suicide or an accident.”
Actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma took to instagram in order to share their condolences as they grieve the loss.
Actress Nushrat Bharucha aslo commented on this heartbreaking news by tweeting a heartfelt note to the family of the late celebrity manager.
As we await more news on this downhearted loss, we pray for the family of Disha Salian in hopes they find the strength to get through this.
