Suicide or Planned Murder; Kangana Ranaut Blasts the Bollywood Privilege Club!

Following the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, nepotism has again become a raging issue on Twitter with hashtags like  #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput and #BoycottFakeStars trending. It was believed that the self-made actor was having a tough time professionally, with ‘Industry Insiders’ and ‘Big Production Houses’ unofficially boycotting him.

Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is known for her fiery opinions and heavy criticism of Bollywood’s nepotism and ‘Clannish’ behaviour, has asked – If Sushant’s death was Suicide or Planned Murder?

“It is important to give talent their due. And if celebrities are struggling with personal and mental health issues, the media should try and emphasize with them, rather than making it difficult for them!”

It is important to give talent their due. And if celebrities are struggling with personal and mental health issues, the media should try and emphasize with them, rather than making it difficult for them!

The actress can be seen questioning the Industry as to why Sushant wasn’t given his due acknowledgement and awards despite having amazing films like Kai Po Che, M.S Dhoni, and Chhichore in his repertoire.

Kangana believes that because Rajput didn’t have a ‘godfather’ backing him up, he was alienated and treated like a ‘leftover’!

“He is begging you to see his film because he fears being thrown out of the industry! Even in interviews, he asks why doesn’t the Industry accept me?”

Kangana, who like Sushant was an outsider but became a self-made star, has also declared at the Bollywood Privilege Club – “We don’t need anything from you, we don’t need your films, but the films that we do on our own, why don’t you give us due acknowledgement for that?”

The actress has also fiercely lashed out at ‘Chamche’ journalists known for writing career-destroying stories, who labelled Sushant as ‘addict, psychotic, neurotic’.

“But you consider Sanjay Dutt’s addiction cute?”

Unafraid of being vocal, Kangana has also claimed that she’s been receiving messages advising her not to take any drastic step since she’s going through a ‘difficult’ time.

She has asked the Industry, “Why are you telling me these things? Why are you trying to put the thought of suicide in my head?”

The actress has also said, “Sushant’s only mistake was that he believed it when they (Industry) said he was worthless!”

Currently, Twitter has called out Bollywood celebs like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha regarding this topic.
