Veteran Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan, fondly known as Masterji and Mother of Dance or Choreography passed away from cardiac arrest on Friday, July 3, 2020, around 1:52 am.
She was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital at Bandra in Mumbai a few days earlier, because of breathing issues. The ace choreographer had tested negative for COVID-19 and was to be discharged within a few days. She passed away at the age of 71.
Saroj was one of the best choreographer in the Bollywood industry till date and has given Hindi cinema huge hits with her amazing dance moves. Her career spanned for more than 40 years in which Saroj choreographed more than 2000 songs.
The legendary choreographer has made many leading B-Town beauties dance on her tunes, from Sridevi to Madhuri Dixit & Aishwariya Rai, the list is endless!
