Nepotism has become the talk of the town ever since Bollywood star Sushant Sushant Singh Rajput passed away by suicide. This topic has sparked debates all over social media.
Industry personalities such as Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan and more have gotten caught amidst the feud. To add on to this list, now actor Vivek Oberoi has found himself being the target of similar nepotism accusations.
A few twitter user, in particular, tweeted out calling Oberoi ‘a product of nepotism’. Vivek reacted to the whole commotion saying comments such as these brush away years of hard work.
To the tweet that called Vivek a product of nepotism, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta reacted saying, “What absolute nonsense. Do you have any idea what all he did to bag Ramu’s COMPANY? His Dad had no role to play in it. And his performance… definitely one of the best debuts of all time.”
It was in reply to Sanjay’s tweet that Vivek felt the need to comment clap back at netizens. He tweeted, “Thank you Gups for standing up for the truth. Many of us chose the harder path and believed in sheer talent and merit. It feels unfair when people make uninformed comments like this, one such comment can brush away years of struggle and perseverance.”
