Pooja Bhatt had recently taken to Twitter to express her opinion against the allegations of ‘nepotism’, which is a raging topic right now. She tweeted that the Bhatt family’s Production House Vishesh Films had launched more new talent than the entire film industry combined.
She emphasized that there was a time when the Bhatts were accused of ‘only launching newcomers and not chasing stars’. Pooja also gave the example of how Vishesh Films had launched Kangana Ranaut in the hit thriller Gangster. She concluded by saying – “The people who have found their way into the movies through the springboard we provided over the decades know what we stand for. And if they have forgotten, it’s their tragedy.”
Slamming Pooja Bhatt’s tweets, Team Kangana Ranaut replied by alleging – “Everyone knows Mukesh Bhatt does not like to pay artists, to get talented people for free is a favour many studios do on themselves.”
Kangana’s Team further called out Mahesh Bhatt for throwing ‘chappals’ at her, calling her ‘mad’, humiliating her and announcing her ‘tragic end’. She also questioned his investment in Sushant-Rhea relationship and told Pooja to ask her Dad why he announced Sushant’s end.
Team Kangana Ranaut also pointed out that along with ‘Gangster’, she had also auditioned and been selected for ‘Pokiri’ which went on to become a blockbuster. Her team stated that – “So your thinking that because of Gangster, she is who she is, is totally not working.”
