Veteran actor Anupam Kher took to Twitter on Sunday to share that his family – mother Dulari, brother Raju, sister-in-law Rima and niece Vrinda, had tested positive for Covid-19.
In the video, Anupam said that he got himself tested as well and he was negative for Covid-19. He added that his mother, brother, sister-in-law and niece were found to be only mildly positive for the coronavirus and were stable.
Anupam Kher’s mother has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, while the others are quarantining at their home.
Kher revealed that his mother had been suffering a loss of appetite in the last few days, so they took her blood test – which was fine. But her CT scan confirmed a mild case of COVID-19.
Anupam Kher concluded by saying his brother’s house is being sanitized and thanked the doctors and BMC for their support and quick action.
On Saturday, actors Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan had also tested positive for coronavirus. Admitted to Nanavati Hospital with mild symptoms, they are currently stable.
