Ahaan Panday On Undergoing “One Of The Most Painful Surgeries” After Saiyaara
After taking 2025 by storm with Saiyaara, breakout star Ahaan Panday is proving that success is not always as glamorous as it looks. Fresh off the blockbuster’s release, the young actor quietly went through what he now calls one of the toughest phases of his life.
Ahaan Panday On Undergoing “One Of The Most Painful Surgeries” After Saiyaara
In a recent interview with Esquire India, Ahaan revealed that he underwent a major shoulder surgery soon after Saiyaara hit screens. The reason was an old injury from a snowmobile accident a few years ago, which had caused a shoulder subluxation.
While it was manageable earlier, the injury became a serious obstacle once he began preparing for his next big project, an intense action romance.

“I actually got a whole surgery done after the release of Saiyaara last year. And it’s one of the most painful surgeries you can do, with the longest recovery time,” he said.
Doctors warned him that the process would be brutal. According to Ahaan, the surgery essentially reset his body, forcing him to rebuild everything from scratch at a time when he actually needed to be in peak action-hero shape. To make things tougher, he spent months in a cast, something most people never even noticed while he stayed completely low-key.
Now fully back on track, Ahaan is training harder than ever. His daily routine is no joke. Three hours of action training, followed by two-and-a-half hours of strength training in the gym.

Ahaan will next be seen in an untitled action romance directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, backed by Yash Raj Films. Sharvari plays the female lead, while Aaishvary Thackeray steps in as his rival.
