On Monday, the Superstar Deepika Padukone recently changed her name on Twitter and Instagram to ‘Veronica’. Wondering why?
It’s because today marks the 8 year anniversary of one of her most celebrated, bold and glamorous roles – Veronica from Cocktail!
The Padmaavat actor has also kept a confident and gorgeous character still of Veronica from the movie as her profile picture across various social media platforms.
Deepika also shared a video celebrating 8 years of Cocktail on Instagram – “Often I’m asked if there is a moment I would like to relive…The answer is YES!”
Starring Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty along with Deepika in the lead roles, ‘Cocktail’ sure was a hit movie from 2012. The fun chemistry of the trio, the music – especially the ‘Tumhi Ho Bandhu’ song and Deepika’s fierce and powerful performance as the carefree Veronica are still remembered fondly.
