In Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Mumbai Police have been exploring all angles including professional rivalry. So far, the police have recorded statements of over 36 people, most recent being Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aditya Chopra.
Now it has come to light that the Journalist and Film Critic Rajeev Masand too has been summoned by Mumbai Police for questioning in SSR’s case.
Rajeev Masand is to be questioned on the blind articles he wrote between 2017 and 2019, allegedly targeting Sushant Singh Rajput. Though these articles did not have Sushant’s name, netizens believed that they were indirectly pointing towards him.
Rajeev Masand has been facing the ire of netizens on social media for these alleged blind articles, wherein the film critic is accused of labelling the actor as a ‘skirt chaser’ and an ‘overpriced outsider’.

As per Zee News reports, in earlier interrogations of Sushant’s PR and managers, Mumbai Police had learnt that Sushant was under stress over the negative articles published on him, believing that someone was trying to tarnish his image.
As per TOI reports, the film critic will also be questioned about the negative ratings he gave to Sushant’s films.
