Filmmaker Vikas Bahl has been facing a hard time while finalizing a female lead for her upcoming comedy-drama. Earlier, Katrina Kaif was finalized to be the leading lady in his untitled project but after Vikas Bahl faced accusations for sexual harassment from one of his former employees during the #metoo movement, Katrina Kaif walked out of the project. Now after struggling a bit, a report by Peepingmoon.com suggests that Kriti Sanon has come on board to play the role that Katrina Kaif walked out of.
This comedy drama, which might be tiled as “Deadly” revolves around a funeral and Kriti Sanon will be seen playing a hilarious role. No on-paper deal has been signed yet and the shooting dates are not finalized yet. However, this film is likely to go on floor by January 2021.
Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in this movie playing the role of Kriti’s on-screen father.
