The CJI S.A Bobde stated that it was also about jurisdiction, and suggested the petitioner to approach Bombay High Court if she had anything concrete. For now, SC is of the opinion that Police should investigate the matter.

Rhea had filed Petition in Supreme court for transfer of investigation; SSR Family also filed Caveat in Supreme Court to counter her move

Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty had filed a petition in Supreme Court requesting transfer of investigation of the FIR lodged in Patna to Mumbai. Sushant’s family too had filed a caveat in Supreme Court in response to her move.

Currently, the Sushant Singh Rajput case is being investigated by both Mumbai Police and Bihar Police separately.
