Rhea Chakraborty requests postponing of ED questioning; ED rejects plea

The Enforcement Directorate had summoned Rhea Chakraborty today, on August 7th, for questioning over two major property investments made by her in a money laundering probe that is in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

On being summoned by Enforcement Directorate, Advocate Satish Manshinde, who is representing Rhea, had made a statement – “Rhea Chakraborty has requested that the recording of her statement be postponed till the Supreme Court Hearing.”

Earlier, Rhea had moved the Supreme Court seeking a transfer of the FIR filed in Patna to Mumbai. The Apex court had then requested the Maharashtra and Bihar governments along with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, to file replies on Rhea’s plea.

However, according to a report by News18, the Enforcement Directorate has rejected Rhea’s plea for the postponement of the summon.

Rhea has now been spotted today at the ED office where she is supposed to be giving her statement for ED’s questioning.

Sushant’s father had filed a seven-page FIR in Patna, claiming that Rs 15 crore form Sushant’s bank account was transferred into accounts that had nothing to do with him.
