Social Media Fake Follower Scam: Badshah questioned for 10 hours and will be probed again by Mumbai Crime Branch

Rapper Badshah was interrogated by the Mumbai Crime Brand with concern to the social media fake follower scam. He was questioned for 10 hours on Friday and had to report again to the Mumbai Crime Branch today. The Mumbai Crime Branch has prepared a set of 238 questions for Badshah, also known as Aditya Prateik Singh Sisodia.

Badshah has given several hit songs and most of them reach a million views due to his large fanbase but however, some strange comments were noticed on his handle and was interrogated about the same. Badshah has claimed that his song “Pagal Hai” reached 75 million views in just one day but Google rejected his claim. The MUmbai Crime Branch is looking into this matter too. Badshah questioned the Crime Branch about the sudden drop in his followers and is now asked to list all his followers.

Mumbai Joint Commissioner of Police Vinay Kumar Chaubey earlier said in a statement “We have investigated and found as many as 54 firms involved in this racket. SIT comprising Crime Branch along with Cyber Cell has been formed which will help in investigating this case.”

This started when Bhoomi Trivedi found an imposter on social media na filed a complain against the fake profile.
