The Enforcement Directorate is probing the money laundering angle of the SSR case. Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Indrajit and brother Showik along with Sushant’s ex-business manager Shruti Modi were interrogated previously.
However, Rhea, Showik and Shruti have been summoned again for questioning. And Sushant’s friend and roommate Siddharth Pithani who failed to appear before the ED on August 8, has arrived at their office today for questioning.
The ED had questioned Rhea once on Saturday following which she was called back again on Monday. The ED had questioned her brother for nearly 18 hours on Saturday. As per reports, Showik’s questioning went on till around 6:30 am on Sunday morning.
According to sources in the investigation agency, the officials have got hold of electronic evidence in connection with the case and are also investigating phone records of conversations between Rhea, her father and brother, news agency ANI reported.
Meanwhile, as reported by Times Now the CBI is soon set to begin their probe and record SSR’s family’s statement, starting with K.K Singh’s statement.
The Times Now report further states that KK Singh’s questioning is set to take place at the residence of Sushant’s brother-in-law OP Singh, Commissioner of Faridabad. Even the sisters will be interrogated soon.
CBI will also meet the team of Bihar Police officials, who had gone to Mumbai to probe into the case.
The CBI will reportedly send the autopsy report of Sushant Singh Rajput to forensic experts at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) and to doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a second opinion.
