Could 2020 get any worse for Bollywood? The answer is yes, as now actor Sanjay Dutt has been detected with stage 3 lung cancer and is seeking treatment in the US for the next couple of months.
Sanjay Dutt had apparently been complaining about feeling breathlessness and was rushed to Lilavati hospital this Saturday. Sources from the hospital are not allowed to disclose any information to the media.
Reportedly, Dutt’s oxygen levels were differing from 90-92% at the time of admission. The actor was also tested for coronavirus immediately with a rapid antigen kit but the results came out to be negative. However, after the cancer analysis test was done, it turned out to be positive and at stage 3.
A source from Lilavati hospital says, “When he was taken to the hospital, he was low on oxygen saturation. But when his Covid-19 report came negative, he run cancer analysis and it came positive.”
A Hindustan Times report stated that Dutt’s treating doctor, Dr Jalil Parker, refuses to make any statements on the actor’s updates.
Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter and tweeted a note ushering fans and well-wishers to not fret. He said, “Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!”
