Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet‘s upcoming cross-border romance is one of the most awaited released. This is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham.
The shooting of this movie has begun in Mumbai’s Film Studio. Along with Arjun and Rakul, this movie will also see John Abraham, Neena Gupta and Rakul Preet as the love interest of John Abraham and the younger version of Neena Gupta, Arjun’s grandmother.
John says “When I heard the script, I instantly knew that this would be a special part, and when Kaashvie suggested I play it, it was difficult to refuse.“
Aditi Rao Hydari who is playing John’s love interest in the movie is also very excited about the movie and says “John and I play a couple in 1946-47, whose love story remains unfinished and unrequited till Arjun’s character feels the need to bring it to closure. Films like these are rarely made today, so I was quick to come on board.”
The film will see John and Aditi in a 1947 period, they will be seen as Arjun Kapoor’s grandparents. As the producer of the movie, John says “The team has taken extreme care, following all the SOPs, issued by the ministries and the concerned authorities. As a producer, it’s important for me to look out for our cast and crew.“
Bhushan Kumar and Nikhil Advani who are also producing the movie are promising a chemistry between the old school love of John and Aditi which runs parallel to the modern love story of Arjun and Rakul Preet.
