Sonu Sood sends smartphones to students in the remote village of Haryana for online education.

Sonu Sood along with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) chairman Karan Gilhotra has distributed smartphones to the students of Government Senior Secondary School.

They distributed the smartphones on 25th August at Koti block in Morni village of Haryana Panchkula. This facility was provided to the students for accessing online classes.

Sonu Sood came across a story that showed student walking miles to access online education, and this is why he took this initiative to provide the student with smartphones so that they can study from home. This will let the students study with ease and not risk their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sonu also surprised the students with a video call after the phones were delivered.

Sonu Sood and Kiran Gilhotra took this initiative together for the underprivileged students and addressed the students in a virtual event after delivering smartphones. The principal of the Government Secondary School, Pawan Jain, said “There are about 190 students in the school who do not have a smartphone. Some students have to travel miles to reach out to other students who have smartphones. In the first batch, 40 students will get smartphones.
