Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khattar‘s upcoming movie ‘Khaali Peeli’ includes a quirky-fun track by Vishal-Shekhar called “Beyonce Sharma Jaegi” which incorporates 12 dance forms.
The song was choreographed by Caesar Gonsalves.
Choreographer Caesar Gonsalves shares, “We experimented with everything, from popping, locking, fire juggling and b-boying to kalarippayattu and Gujarati folk. Ishaan is a fantastic dancer and picked up the moves with ease while Ananya surprised me with her dedication. We rehearsed for four days and shot over three days.”
“I was looking to collaborate with him again and texted him. He called to brief me and I got into action. We got experts on all the dance forms on the set. We wrapped it up on March 16, days before lockdown.” continued choreographer Caesar.
Gonsalves came on board following a conversation with Ali Abbas Zafar, who’s producing the film with Himanshu Mehra and Zee Studios. Bosco and he had earlier worked together on Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Gunday.
